Strung Up's first show, Snap Out Of It! drew on verbatim research carried out over a year. Through nearly 100 interviews, surveys, email exchanges and phone calls, we heard anonymous stories from people on what mental health meant to them. Then we read them out on stage. Aiming to give voice to people who don't always feel like they can speak out and prompt discussions around mental health issues, we stripped the show back to basics: just four performers reading stories out loud.

Performances were:

5-9th March 2013, Pembroke New Cellars, Cambridge

31st July-26th August 2013, C Nova, Edinburgh
